Justin Manning (born October 15, 1978) is an American musician, songwriter, lead vocalist/guitarist for the heavy metal band Hellriders, and lead guitarist for bands Crowned By Fire, Smoke Hollow, and Möth.
He became a multi-instrumentalist at the age of 12, but had a particular affinity for guitar. What started out as a self-taught fling after seeing Slash of Guns N Roses play on MTV, quickly turned into a deep passion for music and songwriting.
Throughout adolescence, Manning played with different musicians from all over the country, which gave him the opportunity to meet and work with guitarist Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne).
Because of Manning’s guitar skills and knowledge of gear and electronics, he was hired as Wylde’s guitar tech, and toured the world with Black Label Society and Ozzy Osbourne at the age of 20. That experience brought him other opportunities to work with artists such as George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob), Tommy Victor (Prong, Danzig), and Pete Adams (Baroness, Samhain).
In 2008, Manning and Crowned By Fire landed their first record contract with Molten Metal Productions, and recorded their debut album "Prone To Destroy" in Florence, Italy.
Crowned by Fire gained continuous popularity with the release of "Space Music For Cave People" in 2014.
At the moment, they are anticipating the release of their third album "Black Slate."
Hellriders is currently working on a full-length EP and preparing for a 2020 tour. Although the band is still in its early stages, it has received an overwhelming buzz of encouragement and excitement.
With Justin Manning’s passion for music and display of talent, he progresses his career alongside various artists, and continues to grow his brand and drink from the blood of rock n' roll.
